Creator of Gaia's Guild
The name Gaia's Guild is honouring the Greek Earth Goddess Gaia. In James Lovelock's Gaia Paradigm, the earth is considered to be an intelligent organism, affirming beliefs of myriad indigenous cultures worldwide. She is self regulating and continuously creating conditions for life to emerge!
Gaia (with her many names) is a guide for Life design, Land design and Ceremonies. In Land Design, we listen to the needs of the land and consider the cultural & ecological context of the greater garden that we are in. Our designs focus on native plants & ecosystem restoration, as well as food & medicine gardens.

In Life Design, we integrate the principles of nature as guidelines & frameworks for decision making. Just as we listen to the land, we can use somatic techniques to listen to our bodies wisdom, our hearts & intuition so that we can know what a full yes feels like.
Laura Walker is a sound ceremonialist and plant spirit medicine practitioner who plays the Celtic harp and other acoustic instruments and sings in the languages of her Celtic ancestors. Laura tends the threshold where songs honour the earth and spirit speaks through sound & the stillness of silence. Her ceremonies are shaped by living myths, herbal allies, and a deep reverence for indigenous wisdom. Through song, story and ceremony, Laura supports those of the Celtic diaspora to remember their ancient earth based spiritual roots.

Her background in regenerative land design continues to inspire her ceremonial work, holding the belief that healing ourselves and healing the Earth are one and the same. Laura is a Permaculture Designer, Organic Master Gardener and core Member of the Sunshine Coast Seed Saving Collective. She studied Life Coaching & Counseling with Rhodes Wellness College and offers 1:1 Life Design sessions to support you to create a life that you love & is in alignment with your deepest truths.
